1. What was Boxer's one real ambition?  Boxer's real ambition was to see the windmill well under way before he reached the age for retirement.

2. Why did Boxer sustain an injury?   Boxer sustained his injury because even when he got hurt he still worked when most of the other animals got hurt they wouldn't work so it didn't heal fast.

3. What was Boxer's fate?  He fell after carrying a load of stone to the windmill and he couldn't get back up.  A couple days after that, Boxer was sold to the Knackers by Napolean.

4. How did Squealor manage to make the animals feel better about Boxer's death?  Squealor lied about how a veterinarian had recently purchased the animal slaughter truck and had not yet painted over it.

5. What did the pigs purchase at the end of the chapter? Where do you think they got the money? The pigs bought another case of whiskey.  They got the money because Boxer was sold to the Knackers.
